Dr. Janelle Yu
Dr. Yu’s professional philosophy revolves around preventive treatments, emphasizing the importance of proactive care. She is deeply passionate about providing her patients with natural-looking results, reflecting her dedication to aesthetics and overall well-being. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and running. Dr Yu is also a doctor at Ski Patrol with Cypress Mountain.
Dr. Yu holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from Queen’s University and a medical degree from the University of Toronto School of Medicine. She completed her residency in family medicine with additional training in medical aesthetics, plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Yu’s commitment to diverse patient needs is evident in her extensive training. She also serves as a clinical instructor with the Faculty of Medicine at UBC.

Dr.Gabriel Chu
Dr. Chu, a graduate of the University of Alberta School of Medicine, completed his surgical training at the University of Western Ontario. Co-founder of Fraser Valley Cataract and Laser Centre, he specializes in eyelid procedures, including blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), ptosis repair (droopy eyes), brow lifts, removal of under-eye bags, and cosmetic laser treatments for the eyelid area. Dr. Chu has been performing eye surgeries since 2003 and is currently active in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, and Surrey. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at UBC, where he teaches and lectures. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife Julia and their two children and staying active training for triathlons.

With over 19 years of experience in skincare and laser technology, Shannon is dedicated to helping clients achieve optimal results. As our lead clinical laser technician and coordinator, she ensures that our medical lasers operate at the highest safety standards while delivering exceptional outcomes. Shannon’s advanced knowledge is complemented by her eagerness to stay current with the latest advancements in laser treatments and medical aesthetics. Her extensive experience allows her to create personalized treatment plans tailored to meet each client’s unique skin needs.
